Design Plus Gallery presents the Peacock Armchair designed by Dror Benshetrit for Cappellini. Introduced in 2009, this sculptural chair is formed from layered and folded felt arranged in a dramatic fan-like profile. The blue interior contrasts with the charcoal gray exterior, creating a dimensional pattern across the seat and back. The felt construction is secured with round fasteners and supported by a slender metal base with four legs. The design is recognized for transforming sheets of felt into a continuous seating form through folds, curves, and repetition. Its expressive profile reflects Dror Benshetrit’s experimental approach to material and structure for Cappellini. It is in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage. Made in Italy.
