Belleek Pottery, established in 1857 on the banks of the River Erne in Northern Ireland, is celebrated for its exquisite Parian china, meticulous craftsmanship, and rich Irish heritage.
Belleek Pottery was founded by John Caldwell Bloomfield, with contributions from Robert Williams Armstrong and David McBirney, to provide employment for local tenants following the Great Famine
Geological surveys revealed abundant local raw materials—kaolin, feldspar, flint, and clay—ideal for high-quality porcelain production.
The first pieces of Belleek’s renowned Parian ware were successfully produced in 1863, earning a reputation among royalty and international buyers early on.
