Circa 1800-1830 Greco-Roman Revival Deep Terracotta Bowl, by del Vecchio pottery, Naples. Grand Tour collector piece; red figure decoration. The del Vecchio family pottery specialized in superb, handpainted replicas of ancient Attic & South Italian pottery. Impressed marks "del Vecchio, N". Leda & the Swan (Zeus disguised as a swan from ancient mythology). Greek Key outer decoration. Minor rim wear & foot rim chips & wear typical of the medium & commensurate with age.
