Exquisite, vintage decorative box by Jenny Wakefield, featuring an elaborate assemblage of natural seashells and coral elements arranged across the lid. The richly colored tortoiseshell-look acrylic box has warm amber and deep brown tones, finished with brass-tone hardware for an elevated coastal look. A shell-shaped maker's label on the underside reads “Jenny Wakefield.” Likely dating to the late 20th century, this unusual piece is perfect as a jewelry or trinket box and would be especially striking styled on a vanity, dresser, or collected tabletop.
