The rattan frames have been carefully restored and refinished while retaining the natural variations and character associated with their age. The chairs have newly made seat cushions upholstered in a crisp white Sunbrella performance fabric, giving the vintage frames a fresh and simple update without taking away from their original design.

As is characteristic of many vintage rattan lounge chairs from this period, these have a lower seating profile. Small feet have been added beneath the original legs to provide a bit of additional height while remaining unobtrusive to the overall design.

The frames retain age-appropriate variations, marks, scuffs, natural checking and imperfections consistent with vintage rattan and previous use. These characteristics were intentionally preserved during restoration rather than attempting to make the chairs appear newly manufactured. Please refer to the detailed photographs.

A great pair for an Old Florida, British Colonial, tropical or coastal interior, equally suited as occasional chairs in a living room, bedroom or covered lanai.
