Crafted with expert historic precision, … Read more An exceptional pair of 19th C Biedermeier period armchairs originating from Southern Germany circa 1830-1835. Crafted with expert historic precision, these chairs exhibit a contrast between structural clean lines and fluid architectural curves. Each armchairs features a beautifully grained solid wood frame (likely walnut or fine birch) with tight spiral-carved scroll armrests that swoop down into a sturdy block construction and gently curved square tapered legs.

Adding a contemporary twist, they have been newly upholstered in a textured black boucle fabric with tight nailhead trim making them comfortable, structurally sound, and ready to stand out as statement pieces in a modern or traditional space. These are quite heavy and substantial chairs.
