Circa Late 19th Century. … Read more This Really is a Great Looking Authentic Antique American Cast Iron and Brass Kitchen Balance Scale. Circa Late 19th Century. It is Rendered in a Classic Victorian Style. It still Retains its Exceptionally Nice All Original Red & Blue Painted Features. The Solid Brass Pan Also Appears to be Original with the Scale. It is in Very Good All Original as it has Survived Over the Years Condition with No Damage or Repairs. The Painted Features Have that Wonderful Natural Age and Use Related Patina that Cannot be Duplicated - Displays Beautifully.

This scale would have been used with a Set of Graduated Size Ballast Weights ( Not Included ).

It Measures Overall as Displayed ( Pan Included ).
