A striking one-of-a-kind table lamp custom-created from an intricately carved giltwood architectural fragment. The sculptural base features exuberant Baroque-style scrollwork, flowers, foliage and draped ornamentation, all enhanced by a beautifully aged gilt finish.
The lamp is completed by a custom ivory drum shade trimmed in gold and lined with discontinued vintage gold-leaf wallpaper. When illuminated, the reflective lining produces an especially warm and dramatic golden glow.
A remarkable accent for a traditional, maximalist, Hollywood Regency or collected contemporary interior. The juxtaposition of the timeworn architectural carving and tailored modern shade makes this an exceptionally distinctive statement piece.
Overall height is 29.5 inches. The carved base measures approximately 11.5 inches wide. Shade included.

There is localized loss to the gilt finish along one outer carved edge, revealing portions of the underlying surface, as shown in the photographs.
