Exceptional late 19th-century English semi-porcelain miniature sauce tureen set featuring a vibrant Imari-inspired palette of rust-red plum blossoms, green bamboo foliage, and delicate gold gilt trim. This rare 4-piece set is exceptionally complete, featuring the footed lidded tureen alongside two tiered, scalloped graduated underplates. Stamped simply 'ENGLAND' on the base, dating its manufacture to circa 1891–1910.
The underplates measure 6 1/4 and 7 inches across. The sauce tureen measures 5 1/4 x 3 3/4 x 3 inches tall.
