The heavy cut-crystal construction combines alternating vertical cutting, a central geometric band and a broad architectural profile, giving the piece considerably more visual and physical presence than smaller serving bowls.

The form corresponds closely with the discontinued Waterford Crystal 8-inch Footed Bowl catalogued by Replacements under piece code FTB8M5. Their published dimensions are 7.75 inches high × 8.5 inches wide, while the present example measures 7.75 inches high × 10 inches across its maximum body diameter. The seller-measured 10-inch maximum dimension is retained for accuracy.

The bowl weighs an exceptional 8.15 lb, reinforcing the substantial mass of the crystal and its suitability as a centerpiece or pedestal serving bowl. No named Waterford pattern is established, and the piece should not be identified as Lismore without additional evidence.
