This listing is for a beautiful, matching pair (2) of vintage individual salad bowls in the highly coveted "Blue Mist" pattern by Dansk. Designed by the celebrated Niels Refsgaard in 1972, these deep, steep-sided bowls showcase a stunning minimalist profile featuring a speckled oatmeal-cream stoneware body accented by a deep blue rim band.
Unlike the more common salad plates or soup bowls in this pattern, the individual salad bowls are notoriously difficult to find on the secondary market. Both pieces in this pair feature the authentic, crisp printed blue ink maker's mark stamped on the base, verifying their mid-to-late 1970s production directly in Denmark.
