This charming Pair of Large Chop Plates is made of ceramic. It features a central motif of a group of workers keeping busy as they cut large blocks of ice from a frozen lake, preparing to load a horse drawn sled. The scene is framed by trees forming a rounded shape, then bordered by solid white, with a final flared trim of blue and white stripes. We believe this pair was made by Currier and Ives due to the iconic style and design however please note that no stamp is present. This pair of 2 plates would be perfect for holding chopped ingredients when preparing a meal or serving any array of dishes with a fabulous vintage style! They would also be a wonderful addition to any collection of vintage ceramics.
The Measurements: height=1" diameter=12.25" approx.
