This is constructed entirely of … Read more This magnificent late Victorian English headboard, circa 1890-1900, is solid brass throughout — tested non-magnetic. This is constructed entirely of heavy cast and tubular solid brass with a warm original gilt wash. Features a soaring 77" high double-post silhouette with turned button finials, an arched crest with central double-arch, whimsical C-scrolls with ball finials, and vertical spindles joined by cast rosette medallions. Slim 3" depth, perfect for small spaces.

A true antique English brass bed with dramatic height originally built for a Full / Double bed — the most common size for English brass beds of this era.

Mounting: Two solid brass side plates with 6 oblong adjustment holes — measures 56"W at widest holes
