This beautiful antique Austrian porcelain perfume bottle dates to approximately 1900 and features lavish gold decoration surrounding hand-painted floral reserves … Read more This beautiful antique Austrian porcelain perfume bottle dates to approximately 1900 and features lavish gold decoration surrounding hand-painted floral reserves filled with soft pink roses and green foliage. The flattened round form, elongated neck and coordinating porcelain stopper give the piece an especially decorative turn-of-the-century appearance, while delicate black scrollwork frames the floral panels against the rich gilt ground.

The floral decoration is artist signed, although the signature is difficult to decipher. The underside bears the crowned Vienna Austria double-shield mark associated with P.H. Leonard, a New York importer of fine European porcelain during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
