The plate features a wonderfully detailed botanical bouquet in vibrant pinks, blues, greens and warm orange, surrounded by whimsical butterflies and insects. A textured basket-weave border is scattered with tiny colorful blossoms and finished with a delicate gilt rim. Marked Metropolitan Museum of Art and Ch. Field Haviland, Limoges, France on the reverse—a charming decorative piece inspired by an important 18th-century Meissen original. See less
