Vintage large Murano glass dish, c.1960’s
Designed by Alfredo Barbini, this dish features a process known as ‘bullicante’ which is a technique that has controlled bubbles in a swirling pattern. This example has a geometric diamond pattern with gold leaf inclusions embedded in milk glass. The shape is organic with a folded biomorphic form, typical of Barbini’s designs. Good overall condition with light wear.
