The dining table with six chairs is part of the Hooker Furniture Wakefield collection. French country/farmhouse/shabby chic. Sophisticated casual lifestyle. The rectangular table has carved turned legs. Two arm chairs and four side chairs are cross backed. Finish: taupe paint heavily distressed to allow the cherry and pinewood undertones shine through. Construction: Hardwood solids with cherry and pine veneers. Durable.
History: The dining table with chairs was purchased new as part of the Hooker Furniture Wakefield collection dining set for my then French country home in 2012. My employment demanded a great deal of relocation and the set was never a good fit thereafter. It was professionally stored for the majority of its life. I held onto it thinking I would one day resurrect it, but that day never came as I am now retiring to a contemporary house. The dining table with chairs deserves a good home.
