We found this stunning Porada dining table and four chairs at a private sale in Beacon Hill, complete with the collection catalog and the original sales receipt from 2001. Talk about keeping all your documentation!! In 1948 Luigi Allievi along with his brother Egidio and his four sons started manufacturing and selling chairs in Como Italy. Two decades later, Porada was founded, expanding the production to every facet of contemporary furniture design. The Notorius 4 round dining table is made out of cherry in the 05.001 Ciliegio Naturale finish. Its measurements translate to 47.3” in diameter and 28.9” high. The four Greta side chairs are 18.8” wide X 19.6” deep X 30.7” high. The original Ciniglia Beige fabric is still on the chairs. This is a beautiful, well maintained dining set reflecting early 2000’s European contemporary style and is perfectly sized for efficient city living. There is one … moreThis Porada Cherry dining table and 4 side chairs are in very good condition for their age. There is one small ding on the table top, and the legs have typical scuffs and marks from aggressive housekeeping. The dining slip seats are original with the Porada dust covers still intact. Some elbow grease and a professional upholster cleaning could get this vintage set looking brand new. We have tried to represent the wear accurately, but additional photos are available on request. less
