Acquisitions by Henredon nine-piece dining set: a substantial trestle-base extension dining table with two armchairs and six side chairs. The table has a richly grained wood top on a sculpted trestle base with shaped legs and a turned stretcher, and extends to 132 inches to seat a large gathering. The eight chairs have tall caned backs, shaped crest rails, fluted turned legs, and upholstered seats in a neutral windowpane-check fabric; the armchairs have gracefully curved arms. Classic traditional styling with a French country / European feel, ideal for a formal dining room, large family dinners, and holiday entertaining.
Henredon's Acquisitions collection was one of the brand's premium, high-end lines. The "Acquisitions by Henredon" brass plaque is pictured on the underside of a chair. Set includes the table, two armchairs, and six side chairs (nine pieces total). Priced with condition in mind; see condition notes.
Table (extended): 132 in L x 40 in W x 31 in H.

One chair has a tear in the seat upholstery and a few other chairs have small additional tears or wear to the fabric; there is also a small break/hole in the caning on one chair back (see close-up photos). The table top shows light scratches and wear to the finish from use. Frames, trestle base, legs, and stretchers are structurally sound. The Acquisitions by Henredon plaque remains on the piece. Please review all photos closely as they form part of the condition description. less
