In its standard configuration, the table seats eight comfortably with a fully matched set of chairs—an uncommon and highly desirable feature in antique dining suites of this scale. The tabletop is well-proportioned for daily use, with a refined presence that works beautifully in both formal and traditional interiors.

Provenance

The antique mahogany table was purchased at a New York auction in the late 1980s. The twelve antique chairs were acquired shortly thereafter to complement the table, and two Chippendale-style chairs were custom-made to complete the fourteen-chair suite. The set has remained together in a single family home and has been well maintained.
