Ridgway of Hanley, Staffordshire features an elegant blue and white floral design with a beautifully patterned neck inspired by Chinoiserie and Victorian decorative arts. The rounded form, generous handle, and rich transfer-printed decoration make it an impressive display piece for a blue and white collection, farmhouse kitchen, or English country interior.

The underside bears the W. Ridgway manufacturer’s mark along with a British Patent Office diamond registration mark, confirming production during the Victorian period. The diamond registration system was used between 1842 and 1883, and the style of the mark places this example within the earlier 1842–1867 registration period. An impressed factory mold number is also present.
