The signature of "R.Meynard" (Robert Meynard) and "Avignon" is painted into the underside of the base. Meynard had ties to the strong collective of ceramic artisans at Vallauris before establishing himself in Avignon. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering the age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
