It dates from the late 19th century and has very vibrant overall decorations. On the border with Switzerland and Italy, Savoie is known for its wine and cheeses and for world class skiing. Savoie pottery is highly collectable because of its vibrant multi color decoration. This one has a traditional Savoie pottery marbleized decoration. It is in very good as found condition with the minor chips and wear that is found on all French pottery of the period. See less
