An exceptional pair of Italian Venetian Rococo Revival side chairs, crafted during the early 20th century and richly decorated in the celebrated Venetian tradition of hand-painted polychrome furniture. Finished in a soft celadon green with parcel-gilt reserves, each chair is adorned with finely executed floral bouquets framed by scrolling gilt ornamentation, creating an elegant balance between whimsical Rococo design and old-world craftsmanship.
The pierced backs feature serpentine stiles, shell-form crest rails, and shaped splats, each meticulously hand-painted with delicate floral sprays.
