Arne Bang Bowl, model 189, 1940s. Strongly modelled Art Deco stoneware bowl with pronounced vertical fluting and a deep green flowing glaze over a dark ground. The form is both monumental and well-balanced, characteristic of Arne Bang’s work from the 1940s, where sculptural presence and craftsmanship are central. Origin: Denmark. Designer: Arne Bang.
