The collection features the pattern’s wonderfully soft powder-blue background decorated with loosely painted flowers, berries and whimsical butterflies and dragonflies in shades of cobalt blue, yellow, green and violet, finished with blue edging.

The service includes a generous assortment of dinner and side plates, shallow and deep bowls, teacups and saucers, along with an unusually extensive group of serving pieces. The standout is the large covered tureen, topped with a wonderfully sculptural blue-and-yellow striped melon-form finial. Two oval serving dishes, two large platters, serving bowls, a gravy boat with underplate, and coordinating sugar bowl and creamer complete the collection. You have everything you need for the most gorgeous tablescape.

Each piece is marked Longchamp, with variations of the maker’s backstamp identifying the service as made and hand-painted in France. With its beautiful coloring and charming hand-painted details, the complete service has a relaxed French Country quality that would make a particularly lovely table setting.
