Rich cobalt blue porcelain is accented with brilliant gilt highlights and a beautifully hand-painted floral garland, while the sculptural Greek key feet add an elegant neoclassical touch. Condition:
Very good antique condition. The upper rim has several smooth manufacturing glaze skips where the cobalt glaze did not fully adhere during production. These areas are original to the firing process and are smooth to the touch. The interior has light age-related staining and a kiln firing separation in the clay, also original to manufacture. The gilt decoration remains in very nice condition with only minor expected wear. The underside exhibits stable, star-shaped crazing visible across the base. Overall, this cachepot presents beautifully and displays exceptionally well. See less
