The chair features an exquisitely shaped crest rail and splat depicting a perched bird among flowering branches above a classical urn, with matching floral marquetry extending across the arms, seat rail, and cabriole legs.

The graceful open-arm silhouette, Queen Anne-inspired legs, and extensive hand-cut marquetry reflect the exceptional craftsmanship of Continental cabinetmakers working in the Dutch tradition during the late Victorian period.
