Elevate your tablescape or porcelain collection with this exquisite set of four antique salad plates produced by the Morimura Brothers (later Noritake) in Japan. Featuring the highly coveted and intricately detailed "Christmas Ball" design (Pattern No. 16034 / 175), these plates showcase spectacular, heavy 24k gold-encrusted scrollwork, Art Nouveau floral medallions, and a delicate cream border on a brilliant white porcelain body.
Each plate measures 7 5/8 inches in diameter, making them ideal for salads, starters, or desserts. The undersides feature the historic green "Nippon" backstamp with a central Asian character character mark, dating this set strictly prior to 1921. True pieces of history, these century-old plates blend timeless elegance with investment-worthy antique craftsmanship.
