Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of Indian Vintage Rush Seat Low Chairs. The pair has turned wood frames, rounded finials, spindle gallery rails, and woven rush seats. Rush seating is a centuries-old weaving method often arranged with diagonal sections that divide the seat into four triangular fields. The natural rush has aged to a golden tone and pairs with the carved post details and decorative railwork. They are in good condition; visible and minimal wear from usage.
