The pattern name is Florentine. Bob Dean was the artist whose works are featured on the plates.He was a popular early 20th-century English cartoonist and illustrator best known for his humorous, late-Victorian and Edwardian-era tavern and pub scenes. In 1932, he collaborated with the English pottery manufacturer Crown Ducal to create a highly collectible series of decorative plates. His whimsical artwork was featured on Crown Ducal's "Florentine" line, which features pale ivory plates with raised, embossed fruit and floral borders and a center cartoon. The plates are very sought after by English pub lovers. See less
