Vintage Home is pleased to present this set of 6 Vintage Peruvian Folk Art hand-crafted terra cotta pottery salad plates. They are from the 1950s and are both hand-shaped and hand-painted with men and women in native Peru attire and llamas. The Terra cotta clay salad plates are finished in a high glazed. They are from Fabricias Ceramica Artistica which was known for its Terra cotta clay hand-painted ceramics, but stopped production in the 1950s. This set of 6 is a great accent dinnerware option and they also would look fabulous as a plate art installation hung on a wall. At the time we listed these we also offered a set of 5 dinner plates in our shop.
