An exceptional early twentieth-century Spode Copeland blue transferware service in the scarce Temple Landscape II pattern, originally retailed by the distinguished New York firm Gilman Collamore.

Produced in England, each piece is decorated in richly detailed cobalt blue with an elegant Chinoiserie landscape featuring pagodas, bridges, waterways, and flowering trees framed by an ornate floral and geometric border. The pattern has been positively identified as Temple Landscape II through research with the Transferware Historical Society.

This offering includes a beautifully matched service for nine consisting of:

• 9 Dinner Plates (approximately 10¼")
• 9 Rim Soup Bowls (9¼" diameter × 1½" high)

Condition has been carefully documented.

Seven dinner plates and eight soup bowls remain in excellent antique condition with vibrant transfer decoration and glossy surfaces.

To preserve the completeness of the original service, two dinner plates and one soup bowl exhibiting stable age-related hairline cracks are included as companion pieces. These condition issues are individually photographed and fully disclosed.

Most pieces retain the desirable Spode Copeland's China England retailer mark for Gilman Collamore, New York, while two bowls bear the earlier Spode mark, a variation encountered in original production.

The rich cobalt transfer decoration, documented provenance, and verified Temple Landscape II pattern make this an increasingly difficult service to assemble today.
