A beautifully matched pair of antique French Louis XVI side chairs from the Napoleon III Belle Epoque era. Crafted with finely carved frames with a painted original giltwood finish, the elegant shield-form backs, molded frames, carved rosettes and fluted tapering legs reflect the restrained sophistication of Louis XVI design. Upholstered in a warm neutral mohair velvet fabric, these versatile chairs work equally well as dining chairs, occasional seating or refined bedroom accents while bringing classic French character to any interior. From the South of France!
