An elegant 30-piece Royal Crown Derby Marquis dinner service for six in the desirable Beaufort shape, produced in England between 1958 and 1964.
Pattern A1222 “Marquis” features finely detailed burnished gold floral decoration on brilliant white English bone china, offering the timeless elegance for which Royal Crown Derby is celebrated. The pattern is documented in the Royal Crown Derby archives and museum as Marquis, Pattern A1222, produced on the Beaufort shape from 1958 through 1964.
This offering includes six complete place settings with dinner plates, salad plates, bread plates, tea cups, and matching saucers, making it equally suitable for formal dinners, luncheons, or afternoon tea.
Archival photographs from the Royal Crown Derby Museum are included to document the pattern and production period.
