The delicately cast butterfly handle displays finely detailed wings with textured veining, adding a whimsical decorative accent to the otherwise minimalist rounded form. The bowl’s smooth hemispherical body and fitted lid give the piece an elegant, compact silhouette suitable for vanity, bedside, or tabletop use. Its restrained design paired with the naturalistic butterfly motif reflects mid-century decorative metalwork influences with a subtle Hollywood Regency character. Ideal as a trinket dish, jewelry holder, candy dish, or decorative keepsake container, the piece combines sculptural appeal with practical functionality. Vintage condition with visible age-related wear. Tarnish, oxidation, surface scratches, and discoloration throughout consistent with age and use. Minor wear and patina visible to both lid and bowl interior. Butterfly finial remains intact and structurally sound. See less
