Beautifully modeled with deeply molded oyster shell wells, each plate features six individual oyster compartments surrounding a central sauce well, while the large coordinating platter offers twelve oyster wells with additional central compartments for lemon wedges, mignonette, or cocktail sauce. The sculptural shell forms are highlighted by a luminous ombré glaze transitioning from cream to olive and deep moss green, creating remarkable depth and visual movement across each piece.

Produced by the historic Moulin des Loups faience factory in Orchies, France, these oyster services embody the French tradition of seafood presentation and are highly sought after by collectors of majolica, French country, and coastal entertaining pieces.
