Marked '99 on the back, which dates it to 1899. Its large size makes it useful for displaying a variety of objects--what look like oranges in the bowl are actually grapefruits, placed to provide a sense of scale. See less

- In fair vintage condition with substantial natural crazing overall, and dark discoloration within the bowl as a result of the … moreIn fair vintage condition with substantial natural crazing overall, and dark discoloration within the bowl as a result of the 100+ year old crazing. The outside and rim of the bowl remain a bright, creamy white. There are some pocks in the ceramic of the underside plinth base that do not extend to the bowl. All of these age-related flaws and wear are visible in the photos. less
