Vintage Hollywood Regency compote candy dish featuring a clear pressed glass bowl set into a decorative figural base. The bowl has a scalloped rim and a geometric pressed pattern combining diamond-point textures and vertical fluting designed to reflect light.
The base features a molded cherub (putto) figure in a dynamic leaning pose, finished in a gilt-style surface with visible age wear and paint loss revealing the underlying composite material. The pedestal is supported by a tiered base with scroll-form feet and floral detailing, constructed with a central structural core assembly.
Stamped underside “Davart Co. Model 3337,” attributed to a mid-century American decorative boudoir manufacturer known for Hollywood Regency and Rococo revival tabletop accessories.
