An ornate Rococo Revival picture frame featuring an exuberant gilt-metal surround of scrolling acanthus leaves, shell motifs, and asymmetrical flourishes. The richly detailed frame captures the romance and theatricality of 18th-century French design, while its warm gilt finish lends the piece the appearance of a treasured heirloom.
Sized to display a 4" x 6" photograph, the frame is fitted with beveled glass, a brass easel back, and a hanging loop, allowing it to be displayed either on a tabletop or wall.
