A Ridgway porcelain hand painted compote from the 19th century, with green rim and floral decor. Born in England during the 19th century, each of these Ridgway porcelain pieces features a lovely green rim with gilt accent, surrounding a central hand painted ring of colorful floral motifs. The compote, resting on a circular base, is accented with gold and white volutes and pierced motifs. It is marked with the United Kingdom coat of arms in the back, presenting the lion and unicorn and the "Dieu et Mon Droit" motto. With its exquisite colors and lovely pierced silhouettes, this Ridgway porcelain compote will be great decorative accents in any dining room.
