The seat and back of chair have been woven with coconut rope pulled taught over metal frame , creating a rigid seat. The iron frame with curled flourishes on the top and arms of the chairs. Bellow the seat, the simple folding X frame legs sit, with a hooked bar underneath to hold the legs in position.
The seat back originally were tick brown leather. Folding chair has been furnished with coconut rope. It could be used inside or outside. Woven was done at Cane shop in Berkeley California. See less
