Four porcelain plates, hand-painted with multicoloured floral decorations. Classic scalloped rim with relief and delicate detailing.
Origin: Germany. Manufacturer: Meissen. Material: Porcelain, hand-painted. Dimensions: D. 24 cm. Period: c. 1930s. Condition: Very good condition with minor signs of use. One plate is 1st quality, three cancelled with two incised lines. All plates marked with Meissen crossed swords. Since the early 18th century, Meissen has been Europe’s leading porcelain manufacturer, renowned for its hand-painted decoration and technical perfection. The floral motifs, often inspired by nature studies, became a hallmark of the factory’s classic style and craftsmanship.
