Offered is a vintage 1970s faux tortoiseshell pen/pencil holder produced by the renowned German desk accessory brand Lerche Solingen. Characterized by heavy metal construction (often brass) layered with polished chrome or 22K/24K gold plating, these holders combine a substantial, heavy feel with minimalist, elegant profiles and often feature an internal cross-divider that keeps writing instruments standing upright and neatly organized. The under side has a rubber disc to keep it from slipping and protecting surfaces.
