This is a wonderfully decorative clear cut glass bowl with a fun art nouveau style silver plate candleholder in the center and base made by Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik in Germany which was in business from 1880 to 1939. The glass is cut in a simple repeating pattern with a scalloped edge and the silver plate has a fine quality art nouveau style.
There are a couple of air bubbles in the glass which I have photographed and the silver plate is very tarnished (I have not tried to polish it) otherwise, the piece is in good condition. It measures 9 inches to the top of the candle holder, the glass is 10 1/2 inches in diameter and the base is 4 1/2 inches by 4 1/2 inches.
