A rare find, this piece from Sarreid Ltd was inspired by an antique 19th-century English tole coal scuttle featuring chinoiserie scenes. This tall black metal container is adorned with painted gold Asian motifs. It has a hinged lid and a gold u-shaped handle on each side for ease of use and movement. A partial original Sarreid Ltd label is visible on the underside. There are also several small green felt pads on the bottom of this bin to protect flooring.
