This 1960s Century French Provincial highboy came with everything worth keeping. The bombé front. The carved cabriole legs. The cast rococo hardware, heavy and ornate in the way that furniture simply isn’t made anymore. The bones of something that was always meant to become more than it was.

The finish is deep forest green, hand-blended for depth and dimension, shifting in the light the way moss does at the edge of something wild. Warm bronze has been worked by hand along every carved edge, every molding, every place where the wood rises to meet you. Nothing was rushed. Nothing was painted over. Everything that was worth honoring was honored.

Open the cabinet doors and the piece reveals its interior world. A skull and rose damask rendered in warm gold against a dark ground. The kind of detail that belongs to whoever finds it. Not announced. Discovered.
