An exceptional, investment-grade mid-century modern find. This 1960s Danish Modern teak armoire dresser (gentleman’s chest) was designed and manufactured by the revered Brouer Møbelfabrik in Denmark.
Interior Layout & Functionality:
Behind the sleek right-side wardrobe door, this cabinet features a clean, multi-tier integrated shelving configuration. This adjustable layout is perfectly optimized for organized storage of folded garments, linens, accessories, or shoes right alongside the five deep drawers. Because this piece remained completely unused, the internal wood and shelving track retain their original pristine finish and are entirely free of typical dust, wear, or interior odors.
Provenance & Condition:This piece features unparalleled Hollywood provenance, sourced directly from the estate of legendary television producer and writer Stephen J. Cannell (The A-Team, The Rockford Files). Remarkably, this chest remained completely unused within the estate. It offers a rare opportunity to own a 60-year-old Scandinavian masterpiece in pristine, "New Old Stock" vintage condition. Three (3) interior shelves were never installed and retain the original shelf pins in a plastic bag.
Design Details:
Constructed from rich, beautifully figured premium teak veneers with solid teak edge banding and carved pulls. The left side features five spacious, smoothly operating integrated drawers. The right side opens to reveal a clean, hidden wardrobe storage compartment. True to Brouer’s legacy, the craftsmanship, proportions, and minimalist lines are unmatched.
