An early 20th century gilt brass vanity mirror attributed to National Brass & Iron Works of Reading, Pennsylvania, marked NBIW marked pattern number 2024. The sculptural frame combines Rococo Revival and Art Nouveau influences with flowing foliate scrollwork, integrated candleholders, and hanging faceted prism drops.
The dramatic asymmetrical silhouette and aged bronze-gilt surface create exceptional visual depth. Produced during the brief operational period of NB&IW between 1891 and 1911, mirrors of this quality remain highly collectible among Victorian and Art Nouveau decorative arts collectors.
A striking dressing table or mantel display piece with strong maximalist and Hollywood Regency crossover appeal.
