A rare and highly decorative antique Spanish azulejo tile produced by the esteemed Ramos Rejano in Seville.
This exceptional example reflects the rich Hispano-Moresque ceramic tradition, drawing inspiration from medieval Andalusian design and mythology.
The tile presents a vivid narrative scene featuring a mythical unicorn confronting a centaur archer, set amidst dense, scrolling foliage. This fantastical composition is emblematic of Mudejar-influenced ornamentation, blending Moorish decorative language with European mythological imagery.
